Peri P20 shaft adopts high quality north America hard maple. Before these shaft dowel put into use, it would keep in Weilu factory wood warehouse at least 5 years longer. And has to undergo a precision moisture content test which should be less than 8%, before entering the workshop.

Each Peri P20 shaft has to process 7times of CNC turnning cutting.After each time CNC turnning cutting, the shaft dowel will be kept in a constant temperature and humidity room for 30days, to make natural dehydration treatment of wood fiber from the inside out, let the wood cells tend to be stable. By this treatment, it makes the cues with very good performance.

The main performance difference between high end Peri cues and normal billiard cues from the market is the process of 5year 210days natural dehydration treatment in a constant temperature and humidity room. Even for many international brand cues can not do this. But Peri belive that, making a good cue, It’s worth to wait by this process. Meanwhile, by this treatment, Peri cues has excellent bending and impact resistance.

In order to meet different level of players or customers request, we grade P20 shaft to be P20-K P20-R P20-S and P20 shaft for different level cues.

Starting from the timber, our suppliers will grade the timbers basing on their grading standard. We only import their top level timber with high cost.  After we got their timber, second time select and grade by our factory’s grading standard, such as wood color, wood scale pattern, mineral line, sugar mark, sword grain,wood weight, elasticity and so on. We just can choose very few pcs of P20-K level shaft from the tens of thousands of shaft dowel. So that’s why P20-k level shaft is expensive. For different level shaft, when production process, it also has some different treatment on it.
